As with all highly silicated cleaners, an immediate and thorough rinse is recommended to avoid powdery residues on parts and fixtures. Avoid prolonged
exposure to glass. Thoroughly agitate while concentrate is being added to the bath.

DARACLEAN 257 is non-corrosive and non-staining to a wide variety of alloys including 2000 and 7000 series bare and alclad aluminum, copper, mild steel, gray cast iron and steel wool. DARACLEAN 257 has been found to successfully remove a wide range of organic and inorganic soils including:

Disposal:
DARACLEAN 257 Aqueous Alkaline Cleaner can be pretreated via skimming and/or filtering. The municipal sewer district covering the plant location determines final sewerability.
Storage and Handling:
It is recommended that DARACLEAN 257 Aqueous Alkaline Cleaner be stored in well-ventilated areas at temperatures between 4 and 38°C (40°F and 100°F). The recommended shelf life of DARACLEAN 257 Aqueous Alkaline Cleaner product is one year.
