Chem-Crest 270 is a heavy duty phosphate-free cleaner for a variety of hard surfaces. It is a biodegradable powdered alkaline detergent. Chem-Crest 270 is a caustic, free-flowing, non-silicated compound.
Chem-Crest 270 removes various oils, greases, lubricants, drawing and buffing compounds, solder fluxes, welding fluxes, photoresists, and airborne contaminants.
Chem-Crest 270 is safe on ferrous metals, stainless steel, nickel, chromium alloys, plastics, glass, ceramics, and silicon wafers — when used as directed. It is not suitable for aluminum or zinc parts. Check with your Crest Ultrasonics representative for alternatives.
Operating Conditions:
Chem-Crest 270 is typically used at 3–5% by weight for various soil removal and at 15–20% for rust and carbon removal in ultrasonic applications at temperatures of up to 180°F.

Avoid breakage of containers. Dispose in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and procedures.
